Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 6th OECD Parliamentary Days, which took place in Paris, during 7-9 February 2018. This meeting was jointly organized by the OECD Global Parliamentary Network and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly with the participation of the Women Political Leaders Global Forum.

On 22 January 2018, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the BSEC Coordination Meetings of the BSEC Troika (Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Bulgaria and Hellenic Republic), BSEC Related Bodies and BSEC PERMIS and also in the Meeting of the BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, BSEC Related Bodies and BSEC PERMIS. These meetings were hosted by the Permanent International Secretariat of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC PERMIS) in Istanbul.

During 12-15 January 2018, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the International Conference on e-Society, e-Learning and e-Technologies (ICSLT 2018), held at the Imperial College London, United Kingdom. The Conference was organized by the Virginia Commonwealth University (USA),the Music Academy “Studio Musica” (Italy) and the University of Portsmouth (UK).

On 7 October 2022, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the International Conference “CIS Convention on Standards for Democratic Elections: Open Space for International Cooperation”, which was attended by more than 200 participants: parliamentarians, representatives of international parliamentary delegations, election administration bodies, experts, and scientists.
