Participation of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, in the International Conference on e-Society, e-Learning and e-Technologies, London, 12-15 January 2018
During 12-15 January 2018, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the International Conference on e-Society, e-Learning and e-Technologies (ICSLT 2018), held at the Imperial College London, United Kingdom. The Conference was organized by the Virginia Commonwealth University (USA),the Music Academy “Studio Musica” (Italy) and the University of Portsmouth (UK). This Conference represents the main annual Graphic and Image Processing event, aimed at presenting the ongoing research activities, which are carried out in order to foster the research relations between the Universities and the industry. The Conference was attended by the leading IT specialists, representatives from governmental organizations and private companies. During the Conference, the participants exchanged their ideas and experiences with the purpose to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for the future collaboration. The participants were informed about the modern approaches and methods of the e-Society and e-Technologies, which play an important part in the field of Innovations, in the creation of e-Government and in the development of the digital economics. In his intervention, the PABSEC Secretary General underlined the role of the Information Technologies in the development of the BSEC regional economies and informed the participants that the PABSEC adopted the respective Reports and Recommendations in this field. Mr. Hajiyev invited the leading IT specialists to share their experiences regarding the development of e-Learning and e-Technologies and the related fields, in the framework of the BSEC cooperation.
