2nd Meeting of the PABSEC Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee, 11 April 2023
The 2nd Meeting of the PABSEC Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee was held online on 11 April 2023 with the technical support of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Russia, Serbia and Turkey, as well as a representative of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat and members of the PABSEC International Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Alexey Kondratenko, Chairman of the Committee (Russia). The Committee approved the draft Report and Recommendation 188/2023 "Space Technologies in the BSEC Member States: National Policies and Developments", which will be submitted to the 61st Plenary Session of the General Assembly. The Committee took note of the information on the activities of the BSEC Organization, presented by Mr. Alexey Nistrian, Executive Manager of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat. The next 3rd Meeting of the Committee will be held in Yerevan in October 2023. The main issue will be “National strategies in the field of artificial intelligence in the BSEC Member States”. Mr. George Siscu, a member of the PABSEC Romanian Delegation, was appointed Rapporteur for the Report.
