On 25 October 2021, Dr. Mikhail Brodsky, President of Lincoln University (USA, California) visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General. The PABSEC Secretary General informed the guest about the current and future activities of the Assembly and stressed the importance of cooperation in the fields of education, science and research. He noted that at present the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee discusses the topic “Objectives and Challenges of Cooperation in the field of Education in the Black Sea Region after Pandemic”. It was stressed that the Parliamentary Assembly is interested in organizing joint events on topical issues in cooperation with educational establishments and research centres. Dr. Mikhail Brodsky informed the Secretary General about the current activities and projects of the Lincoln University, especially in the context of the pandemic, and supported the idea of enhancing cooperation with the PABSEC. Within the framework of the visit, Dr. Brodsky informed the staff of the PABSEC International Secretariat about the educational process in the American universities during the pandemic. He stressed that online programmes for bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as educational training programmes are gaining popularity. Dr. Brodsky answered the questions of the staff of the International Secretariat. Lincoln University was established in 1919 and is located in Oakland/San Francisco, California. According to California rankings, the MBA program at Lincoln University is one of the best following the University of California in Berkeley and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
