Working Meeting of Ms. Zinaida Greceanii, PABSEC President, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, 9 April 2021.
On 9 April 2021 Ms. Zinaida Greceanii, PABSEC President, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova had an online meeting with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General. Ms. Violeta Ivanov, Head of the PABSEC Moldovan Delegation also participated in the meeting. The Secretary General informed the PABSEC President on the work accomplished during the PABSEC Moldovan Presidency and the state of affairs of the organizational and preparatory work for the PABSEC meetings of the Bureau of the Assembly, the Standing Committee and the Plenary Session of the General Assembly in June 2021. He expressed gratitude for the constructive role of the Moldovan delegation to the work of the Assembly and thanked the PABSEC President for her personal contribution to the successful contribution to the PABSEC activities. The PABSEC President noted that the Republic of Moldova attaches great importance to the cooperation in the BSEC region, thanked the Secretary General for the professional assistance provided by the International Secretariat in the preparation of PABSEC documents and events, and expressed hope for the successful holding of the 57th General Assembly within the framework of the Moldovan Presidency. The PABSEC President noted that the final dates of the General Assembly will be confirmed later. The PABSEC President took the decision to award the PABSEC Honorary Medals to Mr. Archil Talakvadze, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia (PABSEC President in November 2019-July 2020) and the Mr. Constantine Tassoulas, President of the Hellenic Parliament (PABSEC President in July-December 2020) and asked the Secretary General to take the necessary organizational measures for forwarding the medals.
